Le 4 décembre 2007, Pimp C s’est éteint. Après un concert avec son pote Too $hort, il s’endort, sûrement sous sirop, et ne se réveillera pas. Il venait de signer avec Bun B Underground Kingz, un double album exceptionnel, à la hauteur de sa légende. Pour lui rendre hommage, rien de tel qu’un mix reprenant ses classiques avec UGK, ses featurings crapuleux ou ses productions toujours poisseuses qu’il nommait lui-même « Country Rap Tunes ». Plus d’une heure vingt qui devrait satisfaire les initiés comme les plus curieux de découvrir un personnage flamboyant, inspiration principale d’une génération entière.
